General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church Of
God, (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Sun-day
advised youth to be diligent, hardworking, and
always exhibit the fear of God in order to succeed in
life, reports OLAYINKA LATONA.
Adeboye made the charge at a special thank-
sgiving/prayer service organized for students by
the national headquarters of the church, Throne of
Grace, Ebute Metta. According to him, there are
several opport-unities for young people who will
dare to dream big and work hard to-ward
actualizing the dreams with Godly principles.
The man of God noted that there are many youths
who are short-changing themselves from their
God-given talents and opportunities because they
lack fore-sight, vision and goals for themselves.
He reminded the con-gregation that during his days
as a lecturer at the University of Lagos: “l had a
goal to become the youngest vice chancellor in
Africa and I worked hard at achieving it but God had
a better plan for me and I am grateful to Him”.
Using biblical Joseph as a case study, Adeboye
said: “The life of Joseph is a lesson for every one of
us as he took a decision that no matter the
condition, he would work hard and will not sin
against God as he walked up to the top of the ladder
in life”.
Continuing, Adeboe said: “I am ready to offend the
whole world as long as I will not offend God. It is
never fun to offend God. If you want to follow the
crowd, you will end up in perdition with the crown.”
