social media results in unstable marriages.
Speaking at the wedding of President
Goodluck Jonathan’s foster daughter Faith
on Saturday, the renowned cleric said:
“If you marry the modern way like on
Facebook, you may likely divorce the
modern way. Marry traditionally and
involve God.”
Moreover, according to him, a husband bears
full responsibility for the success or failure of
the marriage, because a man is the head of
the family.
Adeboye advised the groom not to criticize
his wife but correct her in love and also
advised both mother-in-laws to let the
newly-made couple handle their family life
issues by themselves.
